MARTHA "MICKEY" MOYE ROGERS

Martha “Mickey” Moye Rogers, 89, widow of Charles Ray Rogers, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at National Healthcare Center.
Born in Jonesville, she was a daughter of the late Fulton Emmett Moye and Blanche Louise Mitchell Moye.  
Mrs. Rogers was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a retired Rural Carrier with the U. S. Postal Service with 30 years of service and with her late husband was the former co-owner of Sunset Meadow Day Lily Farm.  She was an avid bowler.  
Surviving is one daughter, Meighan Rogers Price; two precious grandsons, Peyton Price and Drake Price; a special granddaughter, Amber O’Donnell; a stepdaughter, Deborah Hood (Edward); a brother, Joseph Roland Moye; a sister, Helene Dickerson; and a special niece, Carol Houser.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sharon A. Jordan; two sons, David Reid Jordan Jr. and Dale Anthony “Tony” Jordan; four brothers; one sister; and a stepson, Charles “Chuck” Rogers.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Moore officiating.
Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.  
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
