MARGARET HARDY MAPLE

Margaret Hardy Maple, 82, was born on Sept. 1, 1941, in Sumter County, a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Mamie Pinckney Hardy. She departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday at Wayman Chapel AME Church, 160 N. Kings Highway, Sumter, SC 29154 with the Rev. Dorothy Maple officiating and the Rev. Robert China Jr., eulogist. Interment will follow in Wayman Chapel AME Church Cemetery, Sumter, SC 29154.

The family will be receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. daily at the home, 5120 Cane Savannah Road, Wedgefield, SC 29168.
