MARGARET CAPERS

Margaret Capers, 68, wife of Wayne Capers, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.

Born on Feb. 22, 1955, in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Willie James and Ada Estell Wilson.

Funeral service for Margaret Capers will be held at 11 a.m. today at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 325 W. Fulton St., Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. James B. Blassingame, pastor and eulogist.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, 802 N. Guignard Drive, Sumter.

The family will receive friends at the home, 27 Oakview Drive, Sumter.
