LONNIE EARL CANTEY

Lonnie Earl Cantey, 61, was born on April 7, 1962, in Rimini, a son of the late Edward Cantey Sr. and Mary James Cantey. He departed this life on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Antioch UME Church, 10026 Old River Road, Rimini, SC 29125 with the Rev. Lawrence Myers Sr. officiating and the Rev. Cheryl Gadsden, eulogist. Interment will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Pinewood, SC 29125.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. daily at the home of his sister, 670 Sierra St., Sumter, SC 29154.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
