LILLIAN GREEN FRIERSON

Lillian Green Frierson, 76, widow of Jonathan Augustus Frierson and daughter of the late Osborne Green and Elizabeth McCoy Green, was born on Aug. 30, 1947, in Sumter. She departed this life on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at UNC Health, Pittsboro, North Carolina.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Congruity Presbyterian Church, 3750 Congruity Road, Gable, with the Rev. Alonza A. Washington, officiating, and the Rev. Dr. Franklin D. Colclough Sr., eulogist.
Interment will follow in Barfield Cemetery, Sumter.
