LAWRENCE PETERSON

Lawrence Peterson was born on April 7, 1961, in Lee County to the late Annie Mae Peterson. He was called from labor to rest on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Lawrence attended Mount Pleasant High School in Elliott. After school, Lawrence started at the Gibb Center Day Program where he worked at the Coca-Cola Co. Lawrence was a family man and caring person for his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter.

Burial will be in Broad Branch Cemetery, Bishopville.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 483 Raccoon Road, Bishopville.
