KAREN ANN SCOTT

Karen Ann Scott, 72, daughter of the late Leon Scott Sr. and Georgianna Glover Scott, was born on Jan. 31, 1954, in Charleston. She departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at Baylor Scott & White T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital, Dallas, Texas.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. Nate Brock, officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park, Sumter.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
