JUDY S. BELL

Judy Singleton Bell, 60, wife of Harold Bell, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born July 27, 1950, in Alcolu, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Jr. and Lue Minnie Nathaniel Singleton. She was a 1968 graduate of Manning Training School. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Savior and joined Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors besides her husband of Manning include three sons, Rodney L. Bell of Philadelphia, Pa., Reed (Ojetta) Bell and Andrew Hammett, both of Manning; four daughters, Eltrell (Micheal) Bell of Philadelphia, Ryan Bell-Junious, Terri Bell and Teresa Bell-Mullins, all of Manning; three brothers, James (May) Farmer of Charleston, Deacon Harold (Linda) Singleton of Alcolu and Edward (Virginia) Singleton of Parrottsville, Va.; one sister, Lang (Henry) McMillian of Sumter; and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral servivces were held Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1260 Green Hill Church Road, Alcolu, with the Rev. James S. Hudley, pastor, officiating. Burial was held in the churchyard cemetery.

The family received friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Roger Bell-Mullins, Lakebrook Apartments, 3107 Raccoon Road, Manning.
