JOHN MICHAEL MARCOUX

ALCOLU — John Michael Marcoux, 60, passed away on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at his home.

Born on Sept. 11, 1962, at RAF Base Mildenhall, England, he was a son of the late Robert Earl Marcoux Sr. and the late Lillian Davis Marcoux.

Survivors include his partner of 27 years, Dean Bjorken; two sisters, Sharon Spaulding of Hanover, Indiana, and Michele Marcoux of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; one stepson, Blaine Bjorken; several nieces and nephews; as well as his best friend, Kim Floyd McGinnis. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Earl Marcoux Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
