JANIE MAE HOLLIDAY DAVIS

Janie Mae Holliday Davis, 76, widow of Clarence Davis and daughter of the late John Holliday and Lillie Mae Slater Holliday, was born on Aug. 11, 1947, in Sumter. She departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Elder Barrington Pierson, officiating, and Bishop Kenneth J. Swaringer, eulogist.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at the home, 101 N. Wise Drive, Apt 310, Sumter, daily from 2 to 8 p.m.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
