Henry Leroy Jackson, 70, son of the late Tossie Edward Jackson and Cora Lee Washington Jackson, was born on April 8, 1954, in Sumter. He departed this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation Center, Sumter.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Pastor Mary Jane Ragins officiating and Pastor Carlton McFadden Jr., eulogist.
Interment will be on Friday, June 21, 2024, at noon at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia.
Family will receive friends at 850 Murray St., Sumter, daily from 3-8 p.m.
