Gardenia Cindy Burgess, 65, wife of Bernard Burgess, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Born in Sumter on Dec. 2, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Robinson and Carrie Gregg Robinson.
