Free COVID-19 vaccine clinic event at Manning High School on Saturday

South Carolina Department of Education will host a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Clarendon County on Saturday, Feb. 5.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Manning High School, 2155 Paxville Highway.

Residents 5 years and older can receive the Pfizer vaccine, and adults 18 years and older can receive the Moderna or Johnson and Johnson vaccines. Booster dose of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will also be available.

SCDOE partnered with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control for the In It To Win It vaccination initiative to support local school districts, encourage vaccinations and provide information and resources to residents.

According to the latest data from DHEC, 60% of eligible Clarendon County residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine and nearly 52% are fully vaccinated; 53% are fully vaccinated in South Carolina.
