ERNEST O. MORGAN

Ernest O'Neal Morgan, husband of Greta Franklin Morgan, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 15, 1956, in McCormick County, he was a son of the late James and Laura Mae Brisco Morgan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a graduate of Central Carolina Technical College. He was employed by Time Warner Cable in network security. He was baptized at an early age at Pine Grove AME Church, Plum Branch.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife of 22 years, Greta Franklin Morgan; a son, Brandon Jameil of the home; a daughter, Jakara Brionne Morgan of the home; a brother, Tony Curtis (Brenda) Morgan of Plum Branch; two sisters, Elaine Morgan of Greenwood and Kimberly (Myron) Conyers of Pinewood; three aunts, Eva Lou Griffin of Clarks Hill, Thomasena Hartfield of Evans, Ga., and Viola Hammond of North Augusta, Ga.; four uncles, Leroy (Lena) and Sam Willis (Occie) Brisco of Clarks Hill, Ernest Hudson of Plum Branch and Floyd Seymour of Alexandria, Va.; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at Bethany Pine Grove AME Church, Plum Branch, with the Rev. Wanda Aull, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Pine Grove AME Church cemetery.
