EDNA JACKSON

BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut - Edna Jackson, 58, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut.

She was born on Sept. 3, 1963, in Bridgeport, a daughter of Sarah Franklin Baker and the late Eugene Jackson Jr.

Public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, 10331 Plowden Mill Road, Alcolu, with Bishop Keith Nelson officiating and Pastor Hazel Charles presiding. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
