Sumter deputies seek help locating missing man with medical, mental health condition

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in locating a missing man who suffers a brain injury from a past vehicle wreck.
Alex Brailsford, 36, was last seen leaving Lakeside Drive in a dark gray 2012 BMW 528i with license plate number VBA 799 that is registered to his mother, according to Maj. Randall Stewart. He has been missing for approximately 36 hours and may have paranoia due to medication.
Brailsford, who also refers to himself as King, was last seen wearing a black and white shirt with the letter M on the back, blue jeans, a lime green jacket with a red stripe and a black cap. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
