DANIEL J. WASHINGTON

Daniel J. Washington, 41, was born on Feb. 4, 1985, in Sumter County. He departed this life on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at Prisma Health Tuomey. He was the son of Gilda Washington and Daniel Davies. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at First Baptist Missionary Church, 219 S. Washington St., with Pastor George P. Windley, officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Chewning Road, Pinewood. The family is receiving friends at 47 Lakeside Drive, Sumter. Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, 353 Manning Ave., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
