Clarendon County Registration and Election to meet on Oct. 25

MANNING – The Clarendon County Registration and Elections board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at 411 Sunset Drive.
Following approval of the agenda and the previous meeting’s minutes, the board will consider one item of old business:  how to get the Express Votes, DS200 to Turbeville Town Hall.
Under new business, the board will discuss the “pack supply bag for Turbeville Election on Nov. 2, 2021.”

14th Annual A Second Chance Animal Shelter Charity Golf Classic to be held Oct. 23
MANNING - The 14th annual A Second Chance Animal Shelter's Charity Golf Classic will be held on Oct. 23 at Players Course at Wyboo, 1560 Players Course Drive.
Registration will be held at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The cost of the tournament will be $35 per person for Players Course members and $50 per person for non-members with payment to accompany the entry form. The tournament package will include greens fee and cart, continental breakfast, lunch and prizes.
The tournament will be four-man Captain's Choice with a 10-point handicap system.

Grace Christian Fellowship Church Annual Fall Yard and Bake Sale on Nov. 6
MANNING – Grace Christian Fellowship Church, 2938 Raccoon Road, across from the National Guard Armory, will be hosting its annual Fall Yard and Bake Sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 6.
You are invited to browse through all the great yard sale items and then enjoy a delicious soup and cornbread luncheon while you fellowship with friends.
The church is also accepting donations of clean and gently used items.
