CHARLIE MARION SINGLETON

Charlie Marion Singleton, 66, husband of Elizabeth Gavin Singleton and son of the late James Weston Singleton Sr. and Annie Bell Logan Singleton, was born on Dec. 10, 1957, in Sumter. He departed this life on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be held at 11a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Pastor Linda M. Kennedy officiating.
Interment will be held at noon Monday, July 22, 2024, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia.
Family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Annie Lee Davis, 1815 Raccoon Road, Sumter, daily 4-7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, July 16-July 18, 2024.
