SAFE Federal Credit Union has named Brandon Oliver senior vice president of member experience after the retirement of longtime executive Susan Allison.
In his new role, Oliver will oversee SAFE's member experience strategy, branch operations and service initiatives to support the credit union's base of more than 141,000 members.
A graduate of Clemson University, Oliver brings 17 years of experience with SAFE Federal Credit Union to the position. Since joining the credit union in 2009, he has served in several leadership roles, including branch manager, regional branch director, assistant vice president of branch operations and vice president of branch operations.
"Brandon has consistently demonstrated a sincere commitment to members, our employees and our mission," said President and CEO Michael Baker. "His leadership and passion for delivering an exceptional member experience make him the ideal person to lead SAFE's member service efforts into the future."
Oliver has been recognized nationally for his leadership and impact within the credit union industry. In 2023, he was named Professional of the Year by the Credit Union National Association Operations and Member Experience Council, the council's highest honor.
"I'm incredibly honored for the opportunity to step into this role," said Oliver. "I'm looking forward to maintaining the superior standard of service SAFE is known for, while shaping new ways to deliver the best possible experience every day for our members."
