BERTHA MAE CALHOUN

A public viewing for Bertha Mae Calhoun will be held today from 1 to 6 p.m. at Whites Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m. at Saint James Holiness Church, 3655 Myrtle Beach Hwy., with the Rev. Alfreda Johnson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Church Cemetery.
Bertha, the wife of the late Jesse Richard Calhoun Jr., was born April 22, 1942, to the late Samuel B. and Geneva Green Galloway.
She departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, in Columbia.
The family is receiving friends at 850 Illery Road, Sumter, from 2 to 6 p.m. daily.
