BERNARD BURGESS SR.

MANNING - Bernard Burgess Sr., 75, husband of Yvonne D. Madison Burgess, died on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, at McLeod Health Clarendon in Manning.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1947, in Manning, a son of the late General Lee and Willie Carter Burgess.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, with the Rev. Eddie Lesaine, presiding, and the Rev. Dr. Jonathan Mouzon officiating.
