BARBARA ANN MASON

Barbara Ann Mason, 67, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at her home in Manning.

She was born March 29, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of the late Charlie and Hettie Ann Britt Mason. She received her formal education in the public schools of Baltimore. In her life, she sought the need for a personal Savior and she attended various churches in Baltimore and after moving to Manning, she joined Providence AME Church, where she was active with the Pastor's Aide, Missionary Society and Stewardess Board. In Baltimore, she was a foster parent for 30 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Melanie (Daniel Hall) Mason of the home; one brother, Charles Mason of Baltimore; two grandchildren, Danielle Hall of Randallstown, Md., and Daron Hall of Aberdeen, Md.; and eight nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Providence AME Church, 1610 Mallett Road, Sugar Hill community, Manning, with the Rev. Mary Rhodes, pastor, officiating.

The family received friends at the home, 1214 Audrey Road, Manning.
