ALPHONSO CONYERS

MANNING - Deacon Alphonso Conyers, 78, husband of Julia Singletary Conyers, died on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.

He was born on July 31, 1944, in Manning, a son of the late Tillie and Ola Lee Conyers.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church, 14362 Raccoon Road, Manning. Burial will follow in State Cemetery, Manning.

The family is receiving friends at his residence, 2432 Oak Grove Church Road, Manning.
