After a successful job fair in Sumter in May, the Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments with SC Works, Lee County and business partners will hold a job fair in Lee County in August.
Veterans are invited to the event first from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 8 at the Old Bishopville High School Gymnasium at 121 E. College St. After 9:30 a.m., the general public will be allowed into the fair until noon.
About 40 area employers including Ardagh Metal Beverage, Becton Dickinson, International Paper, Continental Tire, Hartt Transportation Systems, SKF/Kaydon and Wells Fargo Bank will participate.
