Missing Sumter man found, receiving treatment

*UPDATE 5:20 p.m.: Sumter Police Department reports that Stephen Milligan has been located and is receiving treatment.

Sumter police and family members are asking for the public's help to locate a man who suffers from a condition that could warrant urgent medical attention.

Stephen Milligan, 29, of Birkdale Circle Apartments, was last seen by family at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday when he left his residence.

He was reported missing Thursday when family members learned he did not show up for a scheduled appointment.

Milligan, who has dreads and was wearing jeans when he was last seen, drives a black 2004 Lexus ES with S.C. tag NRD 329.

Anyone who may have seen Milligan is asked to immediately call Sumter Police Department, (803) 436-2700, or 911.
