Josephine Sanders, 83, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Born in Hagood on June 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Hickmon Sr. and Sinnia E. Thomas Gillard.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home of her daughter, 5756 T B Wright Road, Rembert.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the management of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter.
