Freddie Helton, 93, died Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Born in Sumter on Oct. 25, 1930, he was the son of the late Ben Helton and Eunice Capers Helton.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home of his son, 2361 Stamey Livestock Road, Dalzell.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the management of Williams Funeral Home, Inc. 821 N. Main St., Sumter.
