Fannie C. Jackson was born on Feb. 17, 1934 in Butler, Georgia, to the late Robert Little and Minnie Harris. She was educated in the public schools of Butler, where she began to cultivate her love for cooking and strong work ethic. She was employed by Cleveland State University for more than 20 years and retired as head chef. After her beloved husband retired, they relocated to Sumter.

Her precious memories will be cherished by a son, Curley Jackson; grandchildren, Aaliyah Jackson and Jahmeel Jackson; three great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, other relatives and friends.

In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 2411 Four Bridges Road, Sumter.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St.,

Sumter, with the Rev. Sammie D. Simmons, pastor of St. Mark 4B Missionary Baptist Church, eulogist.

The funeral procession will leave the home at 11:20 a.m.

Burial will be in St. Mark 4B Missionary Baptist Churchyard Cemetery, 2280 Four Bridges Road, Sumter.
