ESTHER MAE BURGESS PEARSON

MANNING — On Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, Esther Mae "Tuddie" Burgess Pearson departed this life at McLeod Health Clarendon. 

Born on Saturday, Oct. 10, 1942, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Sarah Hilton Burgess.

Services celebrating her life will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St., Manning, where Elder Louis Hilton Jr., pastor of the Wilson Grove United American Freewill Baptist Church, Wilson community of Manning, will preside. Evangelist Natasha Darley, associate minister of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Manning, will bring words of consolation. Masks are required. The service of committal will follow in the family plot, located in the Junky Yard Cemetery, Foreston community of Manning. 

Public viewing will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel.

The family is receiving relatives and friends from 3 to 9 p.m. at the residence, 1055 Innsbrook Drive, Wilson community, Manning.
