EDWARD RUSSELL DANIELS III

Edward Russell "Rusty" Daniels III, 67, died on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.

Born on Nov. 14, 1956, in Charleston, he was a son of the late Edward Russell Daniels Jr. and Sandra Richbourg Ashurst. Mr. Daniels was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era. He was the owner of Tri State Supply Co. and later employed at N.S. Farrington & Co. He was a member of Andrews Chapel. Rusty was an avid sports fan. He was a volleyball and basketball coach at Thomas Sumter Academy. He was a Shriner and member of Omar Color Guard. His greatest love was for his daughter.

Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Daniels; and a nephew, Josh Angle (Kim) of Columbia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Angle Whetstone.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Andrews Chapel Church, 1375 Pulitzer Road, Pinewood, SC 29125 with the Rev. Allen Jones and the Rev. Aaron Reed officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Andrews Chapel Church.
