Camp Happy Days needs donations

Camp Happy Days is in need of donations of caps, T-shirts, sunscreen and funds. Held annually the first week in July, Camp Happy Days is a weeklong event helping hundreds of young cancer patients and their siblings spend time in an atmosphere of fun, laughter and fellowship. The Purple Heart Chapter of Sumter is sponsoring a project to have all Purple Heart medal recipients inducted into the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor located in New York. An enrollment application must be completed by the medal recipient or next of kin if the veteran is deceased.
