BONNIE WILLIAMSON MIXON

Bonnie Williamson Mixon, 91, widow of James Clifton Mixon Jr., died on Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Munford, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Paul Douglas Williamson and Alma Pauline Glidewell Williamson. Mrs. Mixon was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and a retired office administrator with AT&T/Southern Bell.

Surviving are a son, Danny R. Mixon (Lynda) of Columbia; a daughter, Paula M. Ress (Tom) of Swansea; a sister, Fannis Forsythe of Millington, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Chris, Dawn, Alan, Logan and Erin; and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Kenadi.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Wes Conner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 27 Broad St., Sumter, SC 29150.
