BOBBIE LEE BENTON

Bobbie Lee Benton, 83, widow of Lionel Benton, died Friday, March 29, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Cocoa Beach, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Horne and Nina Myrtice Parramore Horne.

Mrs. Benton was a member of Plaza Church of Christ, and she was a retired IRS auditor.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Hunter (Jeff) of Hodges and Cheryl Benton of Orangeburg; a son, Larry Benton (Tammy) of Decatur, Alabama; a sister, Mary Rawls (Don) of Apopka, Florida; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Plaza Church of Christ with Elder Harry Davis officiating.
