Students from Cherryvale Elementary School visited Shaw Air Force Base for a "Spring Fling" hosted by U.S. Army Central on Friday, March 22. The event was part of the ARCENT Partners in Education initiative, which strengthens the command's relationship with the local community. The students visited ARCENT for the event as part of the Partners in Education program. The PIE program is ARCENT's initiative to strengthen the relationship with the local community and to inform students from schools in Sumter School District about the U.S. Army.
