ALONZA TINDAL

FLORENCE - On Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, Alonza "Bay" Tindal, husband of Lavern Holliday Tindal, departed our midst at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

Born on Saturday, May 8, 1948, in Manning, he was a son of the late Cleveland Tindal Sr. and Ethel "Sing" Richburg Tindal.

Services celebrating his life will take place at 3 p.m. on Monday at Friendship AME Church, 6156 Furse Road, Pinewood, where the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Mary H. Rhodes, will officiate. Masks are required. The services of committal will follow at Florence National Cemetery, 803 E. National Cemetery Road, Florence.

Public viewing will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St., Manning.

The family is receiving relatives and friends during the hours of 4 to 7 p.m. at the residence, 2671 Boyd Road, Manning.
