Almeta Gaymon Nelson departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, in Sumter.
Almeta, widow of Herman Nelson Sr., was born on June 10, 1930, in Panola, to the late Panzie Thomas and Corine Brown Gaymon.
The family is receiving friends from 3 to 8 p.m. daily at 112 Gates St.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Whites Mortuary LLC.
