Yards of the Month chosen by Sumter's Azalea Garden Club

Sumter's Azalea Garden Club is proud to recognize the April Yards of the Month. The Homeowner Yard of the Month is at 418 W. Calhoun St., owned by Ann Roberts and Steve Gilles. Their yard features a lovely fountain, a front porch filled with colorful potted plants and a shady side porch where they relax after the yard work is completed. McDonald's on U.S. 15 South is the Business Yard of the Month. Roses in full bloom are planted at the entrance and exit. On the location are other flowering plants such as lantana, lilies, crape myrtle and magnolia, which will be blooming later. From every angle of the restaurant, customers have a pretty view.
