Woman, 20, killed in Cherryvale shooting

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 4200 block of Hickory Drive in the Cherryvale area Tuesday afternoon.
Kalieah Green, 20, of Columbia, was found deceased when deputies arrived at the scene, said Deputy Adrienne Sarvis, public information officer for the sheriff’s office.
"Based on what we have now, we think this incident was gang related," Sheriff Anthony Dennis said.
According to Deputy Adrienne Sarvis, public information officer for the sheriff’s office, they have preliminary indications of a basis for the incident but couldn’t share details at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.

According to her obituary, Green was born in Manning.
