Wilson-Davis
ALCOLU - Olivia Dean Wilson and Raymond Bradley Davis were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021, at New Harmony Presbyterian Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson Jr. of Manning and the granddaughter of Mrs. Kay McFaddin Gibbons and the late Mr. Edward Guy Gibbons of Manning and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson of Alcolu. She graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical College with an Associate degree in Marketing and Management. She is employed by Clarendon Auto Parts.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Lee Davis of Manning and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Delmas Myers of Alcolu and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lee Davis of Manning. He attended the Universal and NASCAR Technical Institute. He is employed by Ervin's Tire.
The Rev. Robert Morrison Jolly Jr. officiated at the ceremony.
Music was provided by Mrs. Kathy Owen Gatlin, pianist; Dr. Elizabeth Patrick DuRant, vocalist; Charleston Virtuosi, strings; and Mr. Herbert Len Brown, handbells.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory wedding gown designed by Lillian West featuring a V-neckline, a lace bodice, lace appliques adorning the sleeves and an A-line chiffon chapel-length train. She carried a hand-gathered bouquet designed with white playablanca roses, white lisianthus, blush pink California garden spray roses, blush pink Kiera garden roses, dusty miller and silver dollar eucalyptus tied with an antique silk ribbon accented with the bride's monogram and pinned with her great-great-grandmother's cameo brooch.
Miss Celia Burgess Wilson served as maid of honor, with Mrs. Macey Wilson Stokes as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Perrin Jackson Anderson, Mrs. Emily Brunson Byrd, Miss Sidney Elizabeth Coker, Miss Hannah Jean Davis and Miss Emilee Porter Davis. Junior bridesmaid was Miss Anne Heaton DuRant. Miss Amelia Gressette DuRant and Miss Ann Garrick Gibbons served as flower girls.
Mr. Ervin Lee Davis served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Zachary Daniel Byrd, Mr. Travis O'Brian Davis, Mr. William Cody Justice, Mr. Jeffrey Allen Puckett, Mr. Charles Allen Ridgeway III and Mr. John Joe Wilson III. Ushers were Mr. Hunter Tyson Chestnut, Mr. Christopher Lane Jones and Mr. Nicholas Rance Stokes. Mr. Jackson Fisher Davis served as junior groomsman. Morgan Fisher Welch served as ring bearer.

The bride's parents held the reception at Brogdon 1911, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Brogdon Brown.
The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at Porterjacks Restaurant.
Following a wedding trip to Key Largo, Florida, the couple will reside in Manning.
