Willie Sumter, 82, died on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, at his home in Sumter.
Born on April 12, 1940, in Sumter, he was a son of the late James Sumpter and Beatrice Graham Sumpter.
The family requests that face masks and social distancing be observed during visitation at the home of his son, 3080 Herbal Way.
