WILLIE C. DUKES

SUMMERTON - Willie C. Dukes, 66, husband of Doris Johnson, died May 28, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center, Sumter.

Born July 2, 1943, in the Davis Station community of Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Edisto and Camillia Johnson Dukes. He attended Clarendon County public schools and was a member of Oaks AME Church, Summerton.

Survivors include a daughter, Camillia Butler of Summerton; a son, William Butler of Orlando, Fla.; a stepson, Curtis (Sue) Johnson of Philadelphia; a brother, Lloyd (Greta) Dukes of Doyle, Pa.; four sisters, Inthia Marion of Summerton, Minnie Tate of Penthyn, Pa., and Jeronia Nelson and Deloris (Robert) Moore, both of Germantown, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 5 at Oaks AME Church in Summerton. Burial was in the church cemetery.
