WILLIAM D. THIGPEN

MANNING - William Darry Thigpen, 59, widower of Sondra Kaye Baxley Thigpen, , died June 7.

Born Dec. 27, 1950, in Cades, he was a son of the late John Hugh and Azalee Bennett Thigpen. He was a truck driver and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

Surviving are a daughter, Tamara Bryant and husband, Craig, of New Zion; a son, William D. Thigpen Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Turbeville; a brother, Johnny Thigpen and his wife, Jo, of Cades; a sister, Phyllis Coward and her husband, Dale, of Scranton; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services were held June 10 at New Hope Christian Church cemetery.

Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory of Manning handled arrangements.
