WILLIAM ALLEN 'BILL' DuBOSE SR.

William Allen “Bill” DuBose Sr., 90, widower of Cleo Annette Thompson DuBose, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at Covenant Place.
Born Dec. 20, 1933, in New Zion, he was a son of the late John Edgar DuBose and the late Edna Buddin DuBose. He was formerly a member of Westside Baptist Church and currently Crosswell Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. He was a self-employed accountant.
Survivors include a son, Wil DuBose of Atlanta, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Todd DuBose, and a brother, Ronald Edgar DuBose.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, in the Trinity Church of Alcolu cemetery, 301 Trinity Church Rd., Alcolu, SC 29001, with the Rev. Charles Owens officiating.
Memorials may be made to MSA Hospice, 2560 Tahoe Dr., Sumter, SC 29150.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
