Wheeler Johnson, 79, was born on Jan. 18, 1941, in Columbus, Mississippi, a son of the late George Sr. and Deloris Houston Johnson. He departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Allen Chapel AME Church Cemetery, 471 Lynam Road, Sumter, SC 29154.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
