Voting is now open for the January edition of High School Teacher of the Month, presented by Morris College.
This month's finalists are Brandi Baker from East Clarendon Middle/High School and Ileana Rios from Crestwood High School.
Each user can vote once per day through 1 p.m. on Jan. 25 for free at www.theitem.com/highschoolteacher. A subscription to The Sumter Item is not necessary to vote or win.
The winner, who will be announced on Jan. 26, will receive a $50 gift card to a local business as well as a framed certificate and swag, all courtesy of Morris College.
