Vise-Granger
Rachel Vise and Brandon Granger, both of Sumter, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Sans Souci Farms in Sumter.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Johnny Vise and Mrs. Barbara Watson Vise, both of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Connie Vise and the late Mr. Tony Vise of Hopkins and Mrs. Lydia Watson and the late Mr. Larry Watson of Sumter. She graduated with an Associate of Nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Tres Hackney Jr. of Sumter and the grandson of Mrs. Harriet Marie Walker and the late Mr. William "Buck" Walker of Sumter, the late Mr. and Mrs. Ollie T. Hackney Sr. of Sumter and the late Mr. Darwin Preston Hussey of Spartanburg. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering. He is employed by Continental Tire the Americas in Sumter.
Matthew Walker officiated at the ceremony.
Music was provided by Kristin Barwick Williams, vocalist; Frank Fickling, guitarist; Marlee Cribb, keyboardist; and DJ Howie D Entertainment.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant gown designed by Caroline Castigliano of hand-crafted fluid stretch crepe with a beautiful cuffed neckline. She carried a bouquet of white and pink roses with pink hypericum berries surrounded with eucalyptus.
Jennifer Markle served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathleen Breeden, Katie Ruocco, Shawna Combs, Emily Walker, Amanda Tisdale and Jessica Busby. Emery Markle served as flower girl.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Logan Hopson, Jonathan Joslin, Hunter Johnson, J.T. Vise and Jacob Joslin. Dalton Markle served as ring bearer.
The bride's parents held the reception at Sans Souci Farms.
The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at Lilfred's of Rembert.
Following a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple resides in Dalzell.
