VERMELLE D. WHITTLETON

A public viewing for Vermelle D. Whittleton will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Whites Mortuary LLC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Orangehill AME Church, 3035 Highway 261 South, Wedgefield, with Pastor Wallace Preston, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Vermelle, the wife of the late Paul Whittleton, was born Oct. 15, 1949, in Wedgefield to the late Henry Jr. and Hattie Mae Washington Duncan.

She departed this life on Friday, March 14, 2025, in Columbia.
