Free clinics will be held today and tomorrow in Lee County to offer COVID-19 vaccines to the public.
Today, Friday, March 18, the City of Lynchburg will host a clinic at 67 Magnolia St. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Then, tomorrow, on Saturday, March 19, the City of Bishopville will host a clinic at 309 N. Main St. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees 5 and older will be able to receive the Pfizer vaccine. Adults 18 and older will be able to receive the Moderna vaccine or the one-shot Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine.
Only 44% of eligible Lee County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, in comparison to 76% nationally, according to state public health data.
