THURMAN STARNES JR.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Thurman “Bubba” Starnes Jr., who transitioned this life on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.

He was born Aug. 7, 1961, in Atascadero, California.

Thurman Starnes Jr. was the cherished son of the late Therman Starnes Sr. and Lucille Pompey and the loving husband of Dorothy McCray-Starnes.
